Irupu Falls – A Waterfalls in Sacred Place
Irupu falls is located in the Brahmagiri range in Virajpet Taluka of Kodagu district and is also bordered by Kerala state. The waterfall plunge from the height of 170 ft and with two major drops. It is the major tourist spot between dense rainy forest one can see wildlife if you’re lucky, experience journey within nature while you walk to get there. The forest trail leads from Irupu falls to the Brahmagiri peak. The Rameshwara Temple situated, en route to the falls, Lakshmana Thirtha River is the watercourse of Irupu falls. Irupu falls also called as Iruppu falls and Irpu falls.
It can be easily accessible from Kerala State, need to trek roughly 1 km or 10 minutes to reach there from Rameshwara Temple where the road ends.
