Kaveri Nisargadhama – An Island Formed by River Kaveri
Kaveri Nisargadhama is naturally created Island by River Kaveri located just 3 km from Kushalnagar Town towards Madikeri Road. It is named after Kaveri River. This island covers an area of around 25 acres most part of the island filled with Bamboo and valuable trees. This island has a small reserved area for Deer’s, Peacocks, Monkey’s, and Elephants. Hotels, Restaurants and Shopping stores active all time in the year, there are few Guesthouses which built inside Kaveri Nisargadhama. It is the pleasant place to relax from work pressure.
This island has attractions including Boating, Elephant Rides, Swimming in selected places in Kaveri River in summer season (Prohibited in Monsoon). Hanging Bridge is the famous attraction which connects to the island. Bamboo houses and rare birds found here.

Elephant Ride: Adult – Rs.50, Children (Age 5 to 10) – Rs.20
